Meet our teachers

Sarah found Bikram Yoga during a time of struggle. She was in her early 30’s and unhappy working in a career that was perfect “on paper”. The long hours and lack of creativity in her job left her feeling tired, uninspired, depressed, and anxious. 

She had driven by Bikram Yoga Cleveland at Fairmount Circle on her way to work many times. While in outpatient treatment for anxiety, depression, and an addiction to endurance sports (ask her about it), she did a google search for yoga that was good for anxiety and depression. What came up? Bikram Yoga! She signed up that week and took her first class on Friday, August 7th, 2015. She was hooked right from the start. The intensity gave her all she needed to drop long distance running, overeating, and alcohol. 

There were many ups and downs during the beginning of her yoga practice but she knew it was working. Better sleep, a more calm demeanor, less anxiety, and more joy are just the beginning of what she gained from her practice. 

She went to Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Fall 2018 in Acapulco, Mexico. She has taught in Cleveland, Columbus, Boston, and Kelowna, British Columbia. You will find her classes are taught from the heart with lots of dialogue. Her class is lighthearted, but you better come prepared to work!
